The year was 1999 and I had been living in Bali for 3 months when I ran out of meager earnings from working as a college lifeguard. I wanted to stay in Southeast Asia and travel longer, so I started building simple websites for expatriates running local import/export businesses. I called the company Indorphyn after Indonesia (the country I was in) and for endorphins, the spikes of adrenalin I felt from living that lifestyle. When I returned to the states, I wanted to work in advertising because of family roots (my grandfather was the CEO of an ad agency) and combine it with the exciting developments I was seeing on the internet. I found a career working in online media focused in the advertising space.

I currently live in San Francisco and work at an online media consulting firm I founded called 47 Media. I previously served as General Manager and Vice President at Glam Media. Prior to that I held Vice President positions with social media technology company, ViTrue and online advertising network, Tribal Fusion. I got my start in the online media business at Flycast Communications in 1999 (shortly after my return from Bali). I also assist in leading personal development workshops for AuthenticWorld and a program I co-developed, called The Six Week.

I received a Bachelor of Arts from Pomona College in Claremont, CA in Media Studies. To learn more, see my LinkedIn profile or contact me.
